Welcome to Strictly Dance Magic, a friendly ballroom dance club based in Burgess Hill, with dances held at Burgess Hill School For Girls, Keymer Road Burgess Hill West Sussex, where there is ample on site free parking. We thoroughly enjoyed running our last dance of 2010 on Saturday 27th November which was also our Christmas dance. Many thanks to all dancers who have supported us. We wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope to see you in 2011.
Our next dance will be in the larger Croft Hall and will be held on Saturday 29th January 2011. As usual doors open at 7.45pm for an 8.00pm dance start.
For details of our other dances, please see our Events page and for details of how to find our dances please see our Where To Find Us pages.
Our entrance fee is only £4.50 per person for the evening, which is inclusive of coffee, tea and biscuits. The majority of our dances are held in Croft Hall, which has an excellent sprung wood floor. Occassionally we use the Oaks Hall on the same site, when the Croft Hall is unavailable. We serve Burgess Hill and the surrounding towns and villages of Haywards Heath Cuckfield Hurstpierpoint Lindfield Hassocks and Ditchling in the Mid Sussex area and of course East Sussex and West Sussex . Our dances are a mixture of Ballroom Latin American and Sequence dancing. We welcome adult dancers of all levels of experience, whether you are currently taking your first dance classes or are an experienced dancer who has been dancing for several years. So slip on your dancing shoes and enjoy a relaxed evening of dancing and socialising.
We play a wide selection of music so there is something for all tastes, to inspire dancers and create a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Dancers are welcome to bring their own drinks and nibbles.
We provide a mix of different dances throughout each evening, dancing to a wide range of music from our extensive library of music. Here’s a selection of the dances we regularly choose from during our evenings:
Ballroom Dancing - Quickstep Slow Foxtrot Waltz and Tango
Latin American - Dancing - Rumba Cha Cha Cha Jive Samba
Sequence Dancing - Including Mayfair Quickstep Rumba One and others.
We are pleased to announce that last year we raised and donated £130 to the Parkinson's Disease Society.
This year we raised and donated £175 to the League of Friends of Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
Thank you to all our dancers for their support.
Thank you for your interest, we hope to see you at one of our dances, please stop by again!
